BOLO APB - Clone Rolex 3235 Movement Photo vs. Genuine Rolex 3235 1 month 2 weeks ago #2389

Denver, CO - At fakewatchbusta, we strive to ensure we are knowledgeable about the latest developments in the Counterfeit Watch Industry.  Today, we came across photos of a Rolex 3235 clone movement.  There have been 3135 clones for several years now.  But now there is a Rolex 3235 clone movement.  In the photo we pointed out a few things that are obvious signs of the movement not being a genuine Rolex 32xx movement.

The engraved text is positioned improperly.  We fear this will be adjusted pretty quickly to ensure the text is properly positioned.

The manufacturer of this movement has made the non-freesprung balance look like a free sprung balance, but you can see the standard non-freesprung adjustment lever barely hidden under the balance bridge.  In the previous 3135 clone movements out there, it was readily noticeable because the balance bridge and balance wheel were not correct.  This was an easy way to see the movement was not genuine Rolex.  There are numerous differences in the finishing and engraving.  Be On Look Out - All Points Bulletin issued for this Clone Rolex 3235 movement.  Protect yourself by educating yourself and your staff.

This is a page you should bookmark to use as a point of reference for whenever you might run into a 3235 movement when buying watches or repairing watches.  A large liability could be incurred if a watchmaker takes a fake Rolex in for repair with a fake 3235 movement and doesn't immediately notice it is fake and does not point out that the movement is fake to the client.  If the client takes the watch somewhere else or sends it to Rolex in the future, you could be falsely accused of swapping the movement with a fake movement.  If you are a pawn shop or pre-owned watch buyer, you wouldn't want to acquire a Rolex with a fake 3235 movement.  If you sell that watch as genuine and the buyer discovers later that the movement is fake, you reputation and business could be ruined and you could have both Civil and Criminal liability.  It might be hard to prove that you didn't have prior knowledge that the movement was fake.

Here is the photo with some red text and arrows pointing out major, easy to spot differences on the new generation of Rolex 3235 movement clone.

Quote about this watch movement (not sure how true it is): "Placed in line with the genuine Rolex Cal.3235 white gold deck technology, the balance wheel position is identical to the genuine Cal.3235 movement, the external gear is the same as the genuine Cal.3235 movement, all gears are real gear, not decorative, and The same genuine swing frequency, consistent energy storage (70 hours), the revised version of the shock absorber, for the first time since 2013 Paraflex shock absorber. 23J self-winding movement based on stable made in China. With these introductions, I believe if you are a Rolex watch fan, or you concerned about Cal.3235 self-winding movement. Then this copy of the new level of movement for you must be an exciting New Year's gift."

Thanks I have emailed several of my colleagues and told them to spread the word. If we can spread the word quickly enough and far enough, then unsuspecting people and businesses won't get victimized. I never imagined there would be a Rolex 3235 clone so quickly. Amazing.

Thank you. No idea. No idea this was out there. Many people will get fooled because the 3235 is such a new movement. There will be too good to be true "off the streets" sellers with 3235s at jewelers and pawn shops and people will see $$$$$ and jump on fakes with the 3235. We have to all strive diligently to get the word out and educate the public about the clone 3235. If we don't, the secondary market and grey market will be hurt severely. Customer confidence will be diminished. They won't know who they can trust.

It's Clobberin' Time! The Chinese just won't stop. There should be a tariff put on imported watches and watch parts from China to protect the IP rights of Trademark holders and protect the watch industry as a whole.

These clowns in China are such low-lifes. Too bad. They are like a swarm of locusts. Rolex better start taking them seriously and do something about these people "cloning" and faking their movements, dials, and watches. What's the hold up??
